Harrisson Ford Voicing his First Animated Character in Secret Life of Pets 2

With Steven Spielberg gearing up to shoot Indiana Jones 5, Harrison Ford has decided to foray on something he hasn't tried before—animation.

According to Deadline, Ford will be providing his voice for a character in The Secret Life of Pets 2. This will be his first-ever voice over role; interesting that his Star Wars co-star Mark Hamill is actually a very prolific voice actor.

Ford is joining a cast that includes Tiffany Haddish, Pete Holmes, and Nick Kroll. As for returning cast members, you have Jenny Slate, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress, and Kevin Hart.

With Louie C.K.'s recent scandal, and him playing the lead in the first film, the role of Max is now given to fellow comedian Patton Oswalt. Interestingly enough, Oswalt had voiced another animal in a beloved animated film, Remy the rat from Disney Pixar's Ratatouille.

Going back to Ford, no details have been revealed about who he's voicing in the movie, but a lot of his fans are banking that he plays a grumpy old animal. I dare Illumination to try and have him reference his old roles like Han Solo or Indiana Jones in the film. See if Ford doesn't get an attitude about that.

The Secret Life of Pets sequel is set to come out June 7, 2019.
