Han Solo: Ron Howard Teases 'Desparate And Dangerous Times' In Grim Set Photos

Ron Howard has been doing a splendid job in reassuring everyone that the production for Han Solo is going smoothly. Fresh after he announces that Emilia Clarke has wrapped her scenes, he shared two new photos on his Twitter and Instagram teasing ‘desperate and dangerous times.'

Check them out:

The Instagram photo gives us a cool look at what seems to be a junk planet, and the Twitter photo is possibly giving us a glimpse at Alden Ehrenreich in costume. I don't know about anyone else, but looking at the ball of light in one of the photos is reminding me of the ending in Rogue One where everyone died. With Lucasfilm doing something like that in the last anthology film, I'll be expecting some characters not to make it alive by the end of the film—specifically Emilia Clarke's character Kura.

A lot of fans were worried that the change in directors would lead to Lucasfilm delaying the Han Solo movie, but it looks like things are going very smoothly with Howard at the helm. Hopefully Han Solo manages to release on time. With a release date set for mid-2018, I'm guessing we'll see our first previews before Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out.
