Han Solo: Ron Howard Shares Photo Which Harkens At Cancelled Star Wars Game, 1313

Ron Howard has been giving us regular updates on the untitled Han Solo movie, and this week sees a picture of him on the set with screenwriter Jon Kasdan.

Check it out:

Though a peek at the set is cool in itself, some fans have pointed out that the image of a flaming astromech droid can be found in concept art for then cancelled LucasArts video game, Star Wars: 1313—a video game that focuses on an underground bounty hunter in the world of Star Wars.

With Phil Lord and Chris Miller getting fired from the film after what seems to be a dispute on how the movie should be shot, I'm imagining that Kasdan's presence on the set is to make sure that Howard is doing his job. So far, it looks like Lucasfilm is proud to have the Da Vinci Code director onboard or Han Solo.

As of now, we still have no synopsis of Han Solo's main plot, but it has been guessed that we're going to see Han perform the legendary Kessell Run as well see his homeworld of Correllia. With the movie releasing earlier next year, Lucasfilm may want to start marketing before the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Dec. 15.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is expected to some out May 25, 2018.
