Han Solo: Ron Howard Gives Us A First Look At Kessell

"We'll be sent to the spice mines of Kessel, smashed into who-knows-what!" — C-3PO, Star Wars: A New Hope

The Han Solo origin movie promises to show us the beginnings of the notorious space smuggler including some pretty iconic moments in legends like Han winning the Millennium Falcon from Lando and the infamous Kessell Run. Director Ron Howard, like he always does, has shared a new photo from the set, and he's seemingly teasing the spice mines of Kessell.

A lot of people have been giving Han frack for boasting about the Millennium Falcon doing the Kessell Run in 12 parsecs since parsecs are a unit of distance and not time, but Legends has been able to remedy that by saying that the run is actually done close to a series of black holes and doing the run in a short distance was considered impressive.

With the Han Solo movie coming out mid-2018, we can probably expect some early promos and trailers for the film to come out sometime before the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Hopefully we get our first look by November.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is expected to hit theaters May 25, 2018.
