Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Sculptures Featured At Star Wars Exhibit


Sculptors have recreated Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Sywalker with wax, and the sculptures are heading to Madame Tussauds as part of the museum's upcoming Star Wars exhibit. Early photos show the sculptors' marvelous works.

The trio of Star Wars characters joins a new permanent exhibition that will house 11 walk-in sets filled by various heroes and villains inlucing Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Yoda.

Senior Sculptor David Burks said that it's a "huge responsibility" to recreate Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill's characters, and worries if they get any detail wrong there's be "a generation fo fans with something to say."

A team went to Skywalker Ranch in San Francisco to gain access of the archives, ensuring costumes, music, and sound are all accurate to the films as possible. The sets are not just offering fans a waxwork, but also the chance to re-create the iconic scenes from Star Wars.
