It looks like HBO is heading to this year's San Diego Comic-Con with two of its biggest shows, the fantasy epic Game of Thrones and the science fiction western thriller Westworld.
The shows will be joining the other popular series and shows from other network's like Fox's The Gifted, FX's Legion and AT&T Audience Network Mr. Mercedes. According to a press release from the network (via Screen Rant) Westworld will be having its panel at Hall H on Saturday, July 22 at 4:15 pm. The panel will be moderated by Reggie Watts, the musician, actor vocal artist, and comedian from IFC series Comedy Bang! Bang! Attending the program as panelists includes cast members Thandie Newton (Maeve), Simon Quarterman (Lee Sizemore) Rodrigo Santoro (Hector), Jimmi Simpson (William), Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores), Shannon Woodward (Elsie), Luke Hemsworth( Stubbs), Ed Harris (Man in Black), Ingrid Bolso Berdal (Armistice), Ben Barnes (Logan) Angala Sarafyan (Clementine) and of course the Westworld series creators and showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. An autograph session will be held after the panel at 5:45 pm at the Warner Bros. booth number 4545.
Game of Thrones fans on the other hand can check out the series panel at Hall H on Friday, July 21 at 1:30 pm. The program will be moderated by a special guest from Westoros and the panelists of include series stars, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth) Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) Conleth Hill (Varys), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), and Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm). An autograph signing session will be held afterwarts at 3:30 pm.
There's no clue as to who the Game of Thrones panel's special guest is, but we're sure it's going to be an exciting program. We'll keep everyone updated on more SDCC news once we get word.
