HBO Leaks May Have Revealed Casting For Jon Snow’s Actual Father, Rhaegar Targaryen

It was just revealed in Game of Thrones season six that Jon Snow was not the bastard son of Ned Stark, but actually his nephew born from the affair of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. Because of the massive HBO hack incident, we may have some information on who's playing Prince Rhaegar.

According to sources, it's possible that actor Wild Scolding will be playing the older brother of Daenerys Targaryen. Redditor tyrantting comments:

"It's in the HBO leaked file, we can't show full image because there's personal information. But he's on the list under ‘Rhaegar'"

Another reddit user had also predicted the casting a few months ago, further adding evidence to back up on Scolding's casting. They write:

"I think a Welsh actor named Wilf Scolding was cast as Rhaegar for Season 7. Last year in late September, Lyanna's actress Aisling Franciosi started following him on Twitter. He followed her back, and he also started following the Game of Thrones Twitter account and Liam Cunningham."

Of course, HBO hasn't confirmed any of this information yet, but with Bran's warging abilities and the show's introduction of flashbacks, it's very likely that we'll finally be putting a face to the famous Rhaegar Targaryen. We don't know what scene we'll exactly be seeing Rhaegar in, but hopefully we get to see his fateful battle with Robert Baratheon during the Battle of the Trident. I'm also hoping we get to meet his first wife, Elia Martell of Dorne.

We're already half way through season 7, and Game of Thrones has been delivering quite the episodes. Catch the next episode, Eastwatch, on HBO tonight at 9 p.m.
