While fans are still speculating about Star-Lord's father, there are some questions regarding the main villain of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
According to JoBlo, actress Elizabeth Debicki (The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and The Night Manager) will play the antagonist Ayesha in the sequel. In the comics, Ayesha is a cosmic being who's also been kown as Her, Kismet and Paragon.
If this rumor is true, we still don't know how Ayesha would fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or how her origin story would play out. In the comics, The Enclave are behind her creation, and she has a close connection to another cosmic Marvel character, Adam Warlock.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to release in theaters on May 5, 2017.
