Guardians of The Galaxy's Dave Bautista on Using His Signature WWE Move in The MCU

Dave Bautista is widely known for playing Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy films, but before he took the Marvel role, he's most famous for being a WWE wrestler. Will his two roles converge in a Marvel movie?

We've seen Dwayne Johnson do one of his signature moves in a Fast and the Furious movie when he did the Rock Bottom on Jason Statham but we're wondering if he'll perform it on the big screen. When Comicbook.com asked if the actor would do the Batista Bomb in a Marvel film, he said that he would only do it if the move fits into the story:

"But I've never really tried to carry over my wrestling into films. Ya know I think it would be kind of cool and it would be a nod to the wrestling fans which I'd be all for, but at the end of the day I wouldn't, I probably wouldn't request it, ya know because I just don't think it's necessary," Bautista said. "If I felt like it would fit somewhere I would definitely say yeah let's do that, but otherwise, I would feel like it's just trying to squeeze the gimmick in, and I don't think Guardians needs the gimmick. We're too strong, the characters stand on their own, and I don't know if there would be room for it, but if they wanted to hell yeah I'd do it."

Knowing that Drax is a savage warrior, I don't think it would be off-character to see him do the Batista bomb on a villain. It would be an awesome nod to WWE fans, but it's good to hear that he won't just do it because it's gimmicky. For now, you can watch WWE's Top 10 Batista Bombs:
