Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Will Be At San Diego Comic-Con 2016

Last week, when Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson confirmed his appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this year, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James responded saying, "You'll be so close, I might have to come see you," but he didn't really confirm at that time.

Now, Gunn announced on Facebook that his crew will be there: "We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic Con this year. We're going to be there. I'm gonna be there. Chris Pratt's gonna be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we're gonna show you guys something pretty cool"

Gunn shared the news on Facebook live video that begins with Gunn announcing that Chris Pratt has officially wrapped up filming for the sequel.

"This is going to be the greatest spectacle film of all-time," Chris Pratt told the cast and crew on set. "And each of us have our name on it. And each of us have a piece of it. And for our entire lives, people are going to be really impressed that we did this movie."

Last year, Marvel didn't show up at Comic-Con, but this year, it looks like the studio has huge plans, with Derrickson and Gunn confirming to appear. I can't wait to see who else we'll see.

Guaridans of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to release in theaters on May 5, 2017.
