Glee Actor Mark Salling Dead at 35; Possible Suicide

Everyone was shocked back in 2013 when Glee leading man Cory Monteith died of an accidental drug overdose. Now news has it that his former co-star, Mark Salling, who played Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the show, has committed suicide.

According to TMZ, Salling's body was found in his home in LA, and it seems that he had been dead for quite some time. This suicide came right before Salling's court sentence which was due in March; back in 2015, he had been caught having more than 50,000 images of child pornography on his computer, to which he pleaded guilty. He was expected to serve 4–7 years in jail and required to register as a sex offender.

This was not the first time that Salling had contemplated taking his life. Last August, he had cut his wrists in another attempted suicide.

For now, several fans online have admitted that they are torn on what to feel about Salling dying. Nobody wants to condone what he did, but a lot of fans admit that his character of Puck was such an important figure in their lives.

Salling's career had gone downhill since he was caught, and it's a shame that someone who's inspired so many people has a life story that ultimately ends in tragedy.
