Ghosted Trailer: Adam Scott And Craig Robinson Star In Comedic X-Files/Ghostbusters Parody Series

Fox is releasing this new series called Ghosted which seems like a cross between The X-Files and Ghostbusters. A new trailer has just been released for the show, and it has comedy regulars Adam Scott and Craig Robinson as a bumbling duo of paranormal investigators.

Fans of Parks and Recreation will recognize Scott as uber-geek Ben Wyatt whose brilliance in government can only be matched by his equally high levels of nerd. Scott has always been known for his dry wit, and he's made a name for himself playing the most sarcastic character in the room.

On the other hand, Robinson I recognize from The Office. He's starred in several other comedies, and has proven himself quite the likeable guy. The two recently worked together on Hot Tub Time Machine 2, and their pairing looks to be a fun one in Ghosted.

Here's the synopsis:

Starring Craig Robinson (The Office, This Is the End) and Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation, Big Little Lies), Ghosted is a single-camera, action-comedy about the unlikely partnership between two down-on-their-luck polar opposites tasked with an even more unlikely mission: saving the human race from aliens. Leroy Wright (Robinson) is a cynical skeptic and former missing persons detective, who, if we're speaking frankly, thinks that "aliens" are a big ole bunch of B.S. and that people who believe in them are certifiably nuts…People like Max Jennifer (Scott). Max is a genius "true believer" in the paranormal who's convinced his wife was abducted by aliens.

Ghosted premieres this fall on Fox.
