Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 3 is Coming This Year

Telltale Games is not yet done with his acclaimed The Walking Dead game. And now, it has released some more information for the upcoming season three.

At PAX West 2016, Telltale Games confirmed that it will be releasing the third season, which is set to take place some years following the last season, GameSpot reported.

The new season, to be called The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, will see a grown-up Clementine and a new character named Javier. Both of them will be playable, but what's more interesting is the dynamics in which Javier will be used to show just what kind of person Clementine has become. According to executive producer Kevin Boyle, the two characters have both fought to protect the ones they loved throughout the years.

"Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his—both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse."

As early as now, Telltale Games already has some info on the season pass disc for the PS4 and Xbox One versions off the game. This disc is an additional option to the digital copies, though the disc version will still need Internet to download succeeding episodes.

For those who want to get a glimpse of the grown-up Clementine, here's a look at the E3 2016 teaser trailer for the new season.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series – A New Frontier will be out sometime in November. It will be released on the PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and mobile platforms.
