Game of Thrones Stars Emilia Clarke & Jason Momoa Reunited on The Iron Throne

Game of Thrones Season 8 is nowhere close to its 2019 premiere but fans would be happy to know that Khal Drogo and Daenerys had a sweet reunion over the weekend and there are pictures to prove it.

Last Sunday night, Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa posted footage on their respective Instagram accounts to show us the reunion that will probably never happen in the final season. The photos included a recreation of the famous Dirty Dancing lift sans lake. Momoa, who was sitting on the replica of the Iron Throne, didn't attempt to raise Emilia for the recreation but it looks like they both enjoyed The Lift. "I'd like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever," Clarke wrote on her Instagram.

On Momoa's Instagram, he referred to his former co-star as the "moon of my life," a reference to what Khal Drogo always called Daenerys in the first season of Game of Thrones. "Every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling too much," Momoa wrote. "I fucking love you forever." Feel free to let the tears roll down your face as you press play on this mini Instagram album of their various poses, which included both of them sitting on the throne together."

As most of you Game of Thrones fans know by now, Momoa's character Khal Drogo died at the final episode of Season 1. While some Game of Thrones characters come back from the dead, it's unlikely that Khaleesi's first love would return in the final season.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is set to premiere sometime in 2019.
