Game of Thrones Season 7 Adds New Character

New information about the highly anticipated seventh season of Game of Thrones continues to make its way through the internet despite the fact that the season is drawing closer and closer to its release date.

Though the series has begun to move its shoots indoors, fans at Watchers on the Wall have been quick to spot a new actor being added into the Game of Thrones roster. According to the site, Australian actor Brendan Cowell has been tapped to join the cast of HBO's epic fantasy series as Harrag the Ironborn, a character that's probably original to the television adaptation.

Since his agency has listed his character as "various," the site also predicts that the character could appear in a handful of episodes in the seventh season of Game of Thrones. There's no other information given about Harrag just yet, but given his Ironborn bloodline, it seems like this one might be a fighter that will help fill out the arc for the Reek and the Iron Islands in the upcoming season of GOT.

Game of Thrones returns to the small screen with its seventh season sometime during summer 2017.
