Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Movie Poster Features The State Alchemists


The latest trailer for the live-action adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist showed us more footage of the supporting characters, including the State Alchemists like Roy Mustang and Hawkeye. Now, a new promotional poster for the film has been released, and it gives us a closer look at the State Alchemists.

The official Twitter page for the film tweeted the image featuring Roy Mustang at the center and on either side of him, you can see Riza Hawkeye and Maes Hughes. The other State Alchemists can be seen saluting in the image. If you're famiiar with the anime series, Roy Mustang is a fan-favorite character and it looks like the live-action version of the character won't disappoint.

So far, it looks like the film is staying true to Hiromu Arakawa's manga series.

In an alchemical ritual gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his arm and his leg, and his brother Alphonse became nothing but a soul in a suit of armor. Fullmetal Alchemist will be released in Japanese theaters on December 1.
