Full X-Men: Red Team Revealed

Marvel has revealed the full roster for Tom Taylor and Mahmud Asrar's X-Men: Red series coming out in February, and it's a fairly impressive roster. When Taylor promised a mix of fan-favorites and newcomers he wasn't kidding, with a diverse roster that should get any mutant-loving fans excited for the series. It will be interesting to see why Jean forms this team, but that will likely be revealed during or after Phoenix Resurrection.

Jean has recruited All-New Wolverine Laura Kinney, her clone sister Gabby Kinney, Namor the Submariner, Nightcrawler, Wakanda's own Gentle, and an entirely new character called Trinary. It's fair to say that this is a fairly exciting roster and it will be interesting to see how the book will be different from its companion titles X-Men: Gold and X-Men: Blue, the former of which was the home of Nightcrawler.

As if that wasn't enough, Marvel is also promising one more fan-favorite that could join the team. No hints were given, so fans will have plenty of time to speculate on the character, assuming Marvel doesn't spoil it first. It will also be interesting to hear what their vision for the world of mutants is and if they will butt heads with other X-Men groups.

X-Men: Red comes to comic stores on February 7. Taylor is also writing the comic book prequel to Injustice 2 and the ongoing adventures of Laura and Gabby in All-New Wolverine.
