First Teaser For The Incredibles 2 Shows Off Jack-Jack's Powers

After fourteen years, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet, and of course, Jack-Jack will finally return next year in The Incredibles 2, and Disney has released the first teaser for it. This clip highlights Jack-Jack's newfound superpowers, and Mr. Incredible seems to be delighted seeing his powers at first but it looks like he won't be able to control his son. Jack-Jack might be the most gifted member of the Incredibles family. Apparently, he can shoot laser beams from his eyes, set himself on fire, and produce electricity. He looks like an overpowered baby but we still have no idea if he will be significant in the plot since the teaser doesn't really reveal much about the film's story. Check out the trailer above.

Synopsis:

Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in "Incredibles 2" – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. It's a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.

The film was written and directed by Brad Bird, who also wrote and directed the first The Incredibles film that was released in 2004.

The Incredibles 2 is set to release in theaters on June 15, 2018.
