First Look At Brie Larson's Captain Marvel Costume

We finally have our first look at the Captain Marvel costume of Brie Larson and it's not what comic book fans expected. Due to the current ongoing series of the character, it seemed like we would be seeing her iconic red and blue costume. Instead, we're getting an odd-looking green suit, which isn't out of place in the Captain Marvel mythos but is also an outfit Carol Danvers fans aren't familiar with.

As fans can see in the set photos, the outfit looks like her current comic suit with the color scheme of Mar-Vell's Kree costume. The Kree and The Skrulls are going to be in the film, so this could just be the uniform of the former. Skrulls are known for their purple uniforms and we all know that Carol won't be getting her powers from them.

If anything else, it's an interesting way to pay tribute to the character's past. Mar-Vell might be in the film after all, possibly played by Jude Law, so this color scheme for the costume is a decent enough tribute. That being said, her comic colors are better and the sooner we can get her to wear that, the better.
