First Full Trailer For Live-Action Fullmetal Alchemist Released

Warner Bros. has released the first full-length trailer for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist, and fans will be pleased to see that it's staying true to the popular anime/manga series by Hiromu Arakawa. The trailer features first looks at several of the anime's well-known characters, including Roy Mustang, Maes Hughes, Winry Rock Bell, and the Homunculi. Lust, Envy, and Gluttony look just like their anime counterparts, and we get to see them in action.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (the better version) remains in the #2 spot of my best anime shows I've seen, so if you haven't seen it yet, I highly-recommend you to watch the whole series before the live-action movie comes out.

Check out VizMedia's synopsis below:

In an alchemical ritual gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his arm and his leg, and his brother Alphonse became nothing but a soul in a suit of armor. Equipped with mechanical "auto-mail" limbs, Edward becomes a state alchemist, seeking the one thing that can restore his and his brother's bodies...the legendary Philosopher's Stone.

Fullmetal Alchemist will be released in Japanese theaters on December 1.
