Finn And Han Solo Appearing In Forces Of Destiny Animated Series

After focusing on Rey, Leia Organa and Jyn Erso, Forces of Destiny will focus on other fan favorite characters. The latest issue of Star Wars Insider (Via Jedi News), has revealed that Finn and Han Solo would be given the spotlight in the show's new episodes. What's worth noting is that this will be the animated debut of Finn, and it's nice seeing a new character get some love.

Details on the episodes haven't been given, Lucasfilm Story Group member Carrie Beck revealed that Finn will be voiced by his on-screen counterpart John Boyega. Boyega impressed many with his performance in The Force Awakens, so it's good seeing him reprise his role. No details on who will voice Han Solo, so it looks like Harrison Ford will not be in the series.

Star Wars fans will appreciate seeing these characters again before The Last Jedi hits theaters this December, as part of Disney's new tradition. It's not clear when these stories will take place just yet, so fans will have to wait for more details. While it would be cool to see some of Finn's imperial training, that might be too dark for an cartoon, even if it is a web series.

New episodes of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny arrive this Fall, so fans have that to look forward to. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is slated for a December 15, 2017 release.
