Fight as Trunks in Dragon Ball FighterZ

The previously six-person fighting roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ has expanded by one. Now the game will include a rather popular character in the franchise.

Siliconera got its hands on a copy of this week's Jump magazine from Japan, and it revealed that Trunks will be joining the roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The other characters that be playable in the game include Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu. It was already previously announced that a beta testing will be in the works, though the magazine didn't and any specific details about it.

If you're interested in playing Dragon Ball FighterZ as early as now, then you may want to head over the official website of Bandai Namco and place your preorders now.

Note that there is still no release date attached to the game, but the listing has provided a Dec. 31, 2018 placeholder. Based on all the previous reports, it's possible that the game will be released much earlier than this date provided.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is priced at $59.99, and you can only place a preorder if you already have a Bandai Namco account, which can be created for free. The game will be released on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
