Ezra Miller Says The Justice League’s Flash Is An “Endearing, Altruistic Nerd”

Aside from a few comedic moments with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne in the various Justice League previews, DC fans have barely gotten to know Ezra Miller's cinematic version of Barry Allen. Sure there's been a lot of Mister Element on television, but The Flash hasn't had a lot of time on the big screen.

Now, with Warner Bros. getting ready to bring the DC Extended Universe's Justice League and Aquaman to this year's San Diego Comic Con the studio's rolling out more info about the upcoming superhero mash-up film.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Miller talks about his version of Barry Allen and calls the fastest man alive a sweet "altruistic nerd."

"He's this really endearing, altruistic nerd," Miller explained. "He's the 13-year-old Metallica fan, and Metallica says, ‘We lost our drummer in a freak accident. We need you to play drums, bro!' I don't even have drumsticks!"

Barry Allen' s always been a comicbook fan, so it's no surprise that The Flash'd be an "endearing…nerd." His nerdiness was pretty clear when he geeked out after learning that Bruce was actually Batman in the Justice League teaser. We're going to find out more when the DCEU makes its way to the SDCC later this July.

Justice League releases on November 17, 2017.
