Expect A Reveal For The Animated Spider-Man Movie In 2 Days!

Sony has found success with their new Spider-Man Tom Holland, but apparently that's not enough. They're also developing an animated Spider-Man adventure starring Miles Morales, and Chris Miller has confirmed that we're getting a big reveal in two days.

Miller had teased before that there was going to be a huge reveal, but a lot of people thought that it was going to be for DCEU's Flashpoint movie. Since news has gone quiet on this animated Spider-Man project, I'm also not opposed to getting our first look at the character or even a teaser trailer.

Though Chris Miller is not on board as a director, him and his directing partner Phil Lord are attached to write the screenplay. Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch is also credited as a "story contributor" for the movie.

I'm a bit bummed out that the reveal isn't about a Flash movie, but seeing that the this Spider-Man film is set to come out December next year, it's high time Sony started promoting the movie.

We still have no official plot for the film, but hopefully fans will be happy with what the movie has to offer. We know that Miles Morales exists in the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but I'm curious if this animated film will also be set in the MCU or will be its own animated universe.

This untitled Spider-Man animated movie is set to come out Dec. 14, 2018.
