Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown Join the Cast of Frozen 2

It looks like Walt Disney Animation Studios is picking up some steam with their Frozen sequel, and news has it that they've just added two new cast members.

According to Variety, Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther, This is Us) have joined the cast. We still have no idea who either is voicing, but hopefully we get some more reveals as the year trudges along. Fingers crossed we get a first look at SDCC 2018.

It's worth noting that both Wood and Brown have received Emmy nominations for their work as leads of their own series. It would be interesting to think what kind of roles Disney has in store for them—especially for the animated format.

For now, we still have no idea what's in store for Frozen 2. A lot of rumors have been swirling around for the past month including Elsa being involved in a lesbian romance and Olaf turning into a human. After the poorly received Frozen short last year, hopefully Disney has something interesting cooking up in the writers' room.

Frozen 2 is slated for a release on Nov. 27, 2019.
