Emilia Clarke Tries To Describe Her Han Solo Character As Best As She Can

With enough drama surrounding the replacing of Phil Lord and Chris Miller with Ron Howard, it's nice to go back to the actual characters that we'll be seeing onscreen. Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke has been cast in the movie, but so far, her character is a mystery. So what does Clarke have to say about her Han Solo character?

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Clarke could only say:

"All I can say is that she's awesome. Like, legit, that's all I can actually get away with saying. There's a stormtrooper with a gun, and he's going to come walking in any second."

Granted that Clarke is probably the face behind another powerful woman in fantasy—Daenerys Targaryen—you can bet that Lucasfilm is probably working on making her another strong female character. In fact, the last two Star Wars movies have all had strong females as their lead. Han Solo will be the first movie since Revenge of the Sith to have a man take center stage again.

Besides all the BTS troubles, I'm still very excited to see what the Han Solo movie has in store. Besides the fact that people say that the script is great, I want to see actors like Donald Glover and Woody Harrelson take on the Star Wars universe. It's sure to be great fun.
