Ed Boon Teases Hellboy For Injustice 2

Injustice 2 is already out, and it boasts to have the largest roster of DC characters in a modern fighting game. Even with the number of playable heroes it has now, NetherRealm still plans on adding more to the roster, and Ed Boon has just teased the inclusion of a none DC character: Mike Mignola's Hellboy.

Here's the tweet:

NetherRealm games have had a history of adding characters to the roster that come from other franchises. Mortal Kombat has had the pleasure of guest characters like Kratos (God of War), a Predator, a Xenomorph, Jason Vorhees, Leatherface, and Freddy Kreuger appear in the game. With Injustice2 having MK characters in the ranks, other comic characters showing up isn't that farfetched.

Hellboy seems to be only the tip of the iceberg. Boon has been constantly tweeting about other characters that could be brought to the game like Watchmen's Rorschach, Spawn, or even Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 terminator. Let's just see what the guys at NetherRealm have in store down the line.

Injustice 2 is currently available for Xbox One and PS4.
