EA DICE Feels “Incredibly Saddened” By The Negative Feedback Towards Star Wars Battlefront II

EA DICE might have tried to control the backlash towards Star Wars Battlefront II by slashing down its unlockable character credit costs and by holding an Ask-Me-Anything session on Reddit to listen to fans' concerns about the game, however it seems like the outrage against the company's pay-to-win scheme remains as strong as ever.

The company's answers on Reddit continue to receive down votes from the community, mostly because gamers consider the company's responses vague and unhelpful.

Dennis BBrannvall was one of those who participated in the AMA, and according to the Star Wars Battlefront II associate design director, DICE was "incredibly saddened" by all the negativity the game was receiving on Redit.

"In fact, we hated it, we truly did," Brannvall lamented. "Because we want to make a game that you love."

The design director says that the company really believes that it made a great game, and it's going to try its best to fix the issues overshadowing its merits.

"We've made a really cool, fun, and beautiful game but it was overshadowed by issues with the progression system. We will fix this," BBrannvall promised.

So far it seems like the community isn't all that convinced. We wonder what's going to happen when EA DICE launches the game tomorrow.

Star Wars Battlefront II releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Friday, November 17, 2017.
