Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's DLC Gets Launch Date

Dragon Ball fans can look forward to the new free update coming to Bandai Namco's latest game.

The first free update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will bring in new skills, costumes, and attacks to expand the base game with new content. Bandai Namco announced via the official website that the new DLC will be available on Dec. 20.

Dubbed the DLC Pack 1, this new update comes free with the Season Pass. It can also be purchased as a separate expansion. Cabbe and Frost will be accessible through the Season Pass. They will also come with parallel quests, costumes, and attacks.

Apart from the free new content, fans will also get to enjoy the new event titled Frieza Siege Event, where players need to defeat his army in Conton City.

Players will also get to battle new raid boss Yamcha. Winning against him will earn players a very special title. The event yields some sweet prizes, including 10 exclusive Jersey costume.

The Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe VIP Corner will also introduce exclusive content. Five new teachers--Future Gohan, Bardock, Cooler, Android 16, and Whis--will all be available together with some new attacks.

This new expansion is worth getting, if only to ensure that the experience doesn't end with the October launch of the game.
