Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch

PC, PS4, and Xbox One players have not only been enjoying Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on their respective consoles. Bandai Namco has already been rolling out quite a few updates since its release.

Now, Nintendo will get a piece of the pie by way of the Nintendo Switch. And the main advantage for this platform is that you can finally play the game on the go.

According to Gematsu, the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be available in Japan on Sept. 7. This was confirmed via a new announcement in V-Jump. So far, what's known about this version is that it will already include the Time Patrol storyline from the original game, though this will only be available on a time limited bonus period.

For those who will buy the game as an early patron will get the chance to unlock all of the characters of the main story. Early access buyers will receive a code that will let them unlock 70 characters at the get-go.

Fans who have been playing the game have been waiting for quite a while in terms of new characters via DLCs. Bandai Namco has already teased a few inclusions in the DLC Pack 4, with only a new Ikari form currently confirmed. This fourth DLC pack is expected sometime this month, though for players who are still looking to play the main game, the three DLCs are available via the season pass.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch will arrive in the U.S. and Europe sometime in the fall season this year.
