Dragon Ball Super Movie's New Broly Design Officially Revealed

Son Goku and other Dragon Ball Super characters will return this December when the movie comes out but they're not the only ones returning. Broly, the popular Saiyan villain from the non-canon Dragon Ball Z films, will be re-introduced in the upcoming film. Earlier today, the design was teased, but now, V-Jump has officially revealed the villain's new look.

Check out the artwork that was shared at Jump Carnival below.

As you can see, Broly looks quite different in his non-canon design. He looks buffed-up as ever but his outfit was changed this time.

The canon version of Broly has a bright green wrap around his waist and purple leggings. His forearms are covered with braces, and his Force Boots look similar to Frieza's. As for his body, he looks scarred and buffed. The original iteration of the character didn't have the injuries shown this time. Broly's new look was reportedly designed by Naohiro Shintani, the artist overseeing the upcoming film's artwork.

Are you a fan of the new design of Broly for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie?

The Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie will be released in Japanese theaters this December, and thanks to Funimation, the film will also be shown in select theaters in North America.
