Dragon Ball FighterZ: New Screenshots Of Gotenks, Ultimate Gohan, And Kid Buu

Bandai Namco has revealed new screenshots for Adult Gohan, Gotenks, and Kid Buu, the three newest characters that will be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ. These three were confirmed via a Japanese magazine, so this is the first time we will be able to see these characters in a much clearer manner. The company has also released a new trailer for Gotenks, though like previous videos, it is way too short.

We actually get to see Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks for the character's intro. Gotenks will then transform into Super Saiyan 3, which is the form players will be using in the game. Since transformations isn't a function for every character in FighterZ, this shouldn't make him stronger than the others, though he does have a number of great moves in the trailer.

The description for Adult Gohan implies that he can turn into his Ultimate form, which he learned from the Kais. It will probably be similar to the Golden Frieza transformation, meaning it will be a temporary form that buffs up the player. His Super Kamehameha will also drain his super meter and do more damage depending on how much meter the character has, which should make him a powerful fighter in the game.

Kid Buu's description is pretty vague, stating that he is an expert on tricky attacks. We do know that he will have his Planet Destroyer as a finisher, most likely a level 3, but not much else. Maybe we can expect stretchy limbs ala Piccolo or Fat Buu, which should make for cool visual combos.

Dragon Ball FighterZ comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on January 26.
