Dragon Ball: Dead Yamcha Gets a Funko POP

It's always sad when a character's iconic moment involves them dying but that is pretty much the case for Dragon Ball character Yamcha. One of the weaker characters in the group, the former bandit was part of the core crew when the series was about a young Goku. While he has had a few memorable moments one of them involves him dying and has been used as a meme numerous times.

Yeah, it's when he was killed by a Saibaman.

The image has been used on shirts and other promotional material, showing just how known the moment is with fans. If fans manage to go to San Diego Comic-Con, they will be able to get a Funko POP of Dead Yamcha. Seriously.

As fans can see, Yamcha is in his iconic death pose, though the lack of a crater to go with the figure is a bit disappointing. Still, considering how most Funko POPS are usually in the same pose, this is rather impressive and should be a must-have for collectors and Dragon Ball fans.

Even though he's treated like a joke, Yamcha has gained a bit of a fan base in recent years. Whether it's due to the fact that he's a joke or people just relate to the guy, fans have shown their support for the character, particularly during a filler Dragon Ball Super episode about baseball, which ended up being one of the show's best.

Yamcha may or may not appear in the new Dragon Ball Super movie, which comes out on December 14.
