Does This Post Confirm The Appearance Of (Spoiler) In Star Wars: The Last Jedi?

Warning: This article contains potential spoilers to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

It looks like a certain Star Wars favorite might be making a surprise appearance in the highly anticipated sequel trilogy installment, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Because of an ill-conceived post by Digital Sputnik, fans now have what might seem to be a confirmation that they'll get a scene with Yoda in The Force Awakens sequel.

Going on Facebook, Digital Sputnik shared the theatrical trailer for Mary Magdalene, a Bible epic whose production the company supplied lighting equipment to. While the trailer itself doesn't have anything to do with The Last Jedi, the text Digital Sputnik's social media marketing team wrote on the post is a rather curious thing.

"We've just realized we have illuminated Jesus AND Yoda," the company bragged, not knowing 0that their post would be a spoiler to The last Jedi. The original post has since been taken down from Digital Sputnik's account, but in a screenshot below you can see what the company wrote.

For those who aren't familiar with the lighting company's name, Digital Sputnik has worked on a number of blockbusters, including Independence Day: Resurgence, Pacific Rim Uprising, and of course Rogue One. Could this really mean that we'd get a Yoda cameo in The Last Jedi? Perhaps Luke gets a visit from the Master Jedi's Force Ghost in a flashback in The Last Jedi?

Let's wait and see.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
