The Doctor has found a new home, and it's not where many Whovians expected.
After Doctor Who left Netflix and Hulu a few weeks ago, BBC and Amazon announced that the show will return to streaming on Amazon Prime starting in March. Seasons 1 through 8 will be available.
This is good news for fans trying to catch up to the new seasons or Whovians who want to re-watch previous seasons.
There are also other titles coming to Amazon Prime, including Ghostbusters movies (1 and 2), David Foster Wallace biopic The End of the Tour, and Orphan Black Season 3 among others. These were announced in Amazon's official press release (via Decider) last week, but this is the first time the company has announced that Doctor Who will join the online library.
