Disney XD Removes Louis C.K.'s Voice From Gravity Falls

Many consider 2017 to be an eye-opening one for Hollywood, with many actors accused of sexual abuse. From big actors like Kevin Spacey to directors like Brett Ratner, it left many uneasy. One of the actors who confessed to his wrongdoings was C.K. Louis, who did not deny the accusations and accepted the responsibility for it. This resulted in one of his films being canned and losing his role in the sequel to Secret Life of Pets.

Though not as big, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Disney XD redubbed the voice work he did for Gravity Falls. He voiced The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity, who appeared in two episodes.

A Disney official confirmed that the character was redubbed a month ago. The Monstrosity is now voiced by series creator Alex Hirsch.

"The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world."

It's one of the many replacements that Hollywood has done since the numerous accusations that have come up. Kevin Spacey was replaced by Christopher Plummer in Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World. Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call and these people realize that they can't do these actions to others just because they're famous.
