Disney Villains Lose Their Heads In Disneyland Rides

It looks like Disney Parks have been having a bit of a head problem over the weekend.

Guests at Disney's California Adventure were given quite a scare last Sunday when an animatronic version of Ursala lost its head in one of the park's rides. Everything seemed to be going well at The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure last weekend until the guests on the ride turned the corner to spot Ursala with her head lolling to the ground.

The animatronic character was doing its usual bit, singing and swaying side to side. The only difference was Ursala's head hanging right in front of its chest. It's pretty creepy seeing a decapitated animatronic doll singing to a villainous song in the dark and we're not sure whether young guests enjoyed The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure after the head-chopping affair.

That's not the only Disney's California Adventure wasn't the only park to see a head-malfunction though. Disneyland Paris also had a similar experience.

An auctioneer from its Pirates of the Caribbean attraction also lost its head during the middle of the ride, and just like Ursala, the animatronic doll continued dancing and singing along to the song with its head hanging a few feet above the floor.

Is someone chopping off Disney's animatronic heads for fun, or the dolls just too old?
