Disney Changes Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Air Time

Star Wars Rebels is approaching the release of its fourth and final season on DisneyXD and it seems like the popular Star Wars animated series is getting a new time slot for its final run.

Last week, word came out that Star WarsRebels had finally received its October premiere date.

Today, Lucasfilm publicist Tracy Cannobbio has confirmed that the series has been assigned a different timeslot for its fourth season on Disney XD. According to her announcement, each new episode of the thrilling animated series will premiere at 12:30 am every Monday. The new episode would then be scheduled to air on repeat throughout the day at 3:00 am, 7:30 am, 5:30 pm and then at 9:00 pm.

Having the premiere come a little after midnight seems like quite a surprise, especially since the series' target audience goes to bed way, way before midnight. Thankfully, to remedy the premiere schedule, Disney's decided to air the new episode throughout the day. The most watched timeslots would probably be those around the evening when children and working viewers get home from their offices and schools.

Though it's uncertain as to why Disney might be having the new Star Wars Rebels premiere during dawn, it's likely that the company wants the series to be available on-demand much earlier than usual.

Star Wars Rebels season 4 premieres on Monday, October 16 at 12:30 am on DisneyXD.
