Did The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman Just Reveal Who Negan Killed?

The Walking Dead's huge cliffhanger left fans guessing who Negan actually killed, but series writer and creator Robert Kirkman is clearly having fun with the big mystery, even dropping a character's name but of course, it's just a jest.

On Chris Hardwick's Comedy Central series@midnight, Kirkman had some fun and games with his Talking Dead host, and when each comedian was asked to come up with the very worst cliffhanger ending for a TV series, Hardwick mentioned The Walking Dead's cliffhanger and claimed not to know the answer to everyone's question but Kirkman said, "I know!"

Kirkman teased Negan's kill: "On the next exciting episode of The Walking Dead, we find out how mad fans are when they find out Negan killed Carl in the season six cliffhanger People wanted to know!" Kirkman insisted. "I'm not gonna make you wait all summer! I'm not an a--hole!"

Of course, Carl is likely the only character who's considered safe in the cliffhaner. Right before Negan used Lucille, he threatened to "cut the boys other eye out," implying that Carl would initially have a head to cut an eye out.
