Details Revealed about Finn's Star Wars: Episode VII Recovery


Details have been revealed about how Finn is being treated for the injuries he recieved in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Making Star Wars reports. In the movie, Finn was injured when he engaged in a lightsaber battle with the villainous Kylo Ren. Fortunately, Rey was able to finish the battle in fighting off Kylo Ren and got Finn medical attention.

Finn was last seen unconcious in a medical bay, when Rey gave him a goodbye kiss on the forehead and went off to search for Luke Skywalker. Now details have been revealed about how exactly Finn is being treated. Finn is placed in a bacta suit to heal.

Bacta is a healing agent in the Star Wars universe that is capable of regrowing muscles, nerves and skins. A notable instance of bacta use in Star Wars canon is in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Luke Skywalker is dunked in a bacta tank following a great escape.

Apparently, there will be a scene in Star Wars: Episode VIII where Finn is cut or otherwise removed from the suit. He will find himself in perfect condition. At this point, he will embark on his newest journey.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released on December 15, 2017.

Many fans speculated Finn's recovery would involve bacta and now it appears they were right. The "suit" is a new spin, however. What do you think of this new method of treatment? And where do you think Finn's journey will take him?
