Fans who can't wait for the new Deadpool movie to come out can see the Merc with a Mouth from a whole different side: in a video that mixes him up with favorite Disney characters. Walt Disney's family-friendly kingdom turns on its head in this rib-tickling video created by Butch Hartman.
The video calls itself a "Disney invasion," but it's more of a disruption. Watch as Sleeping Beauty's evil queen consults the all-seeing mirror which turns out to be Deadpool. The assassin switches places with Aladdin to get his girlfriend on that magical carpet ride. And who knows what will befall the animal realm since it's Deadpool, and not baby Simba, who is raised for the naming ceremony in The Lion King.
No movie is spared. Deadpool sets his mark on all our favorite childhood moments: Frozen, The Lady and the Tramp, and Beauty and the Beast, among others.
This is not the Disney kiddie-friendly movie channel that we know. But it sure is funny, irreverent, and provocative, as only Deadpool can make it.
And it can be more entertaining than speculating on unconfirmed buzz as to who will play Cable, or what Domino will look like.
