Julian Dennison is just getting hit after hit. After appearing in Taika Waititi's Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Dennison nabbed a role in summer blockbuster Deadpool 2. Now news has it that Dennison has been cast in the 2020 mega monster movie, Godzilla vs. Kong.
According to That Hashtag Show, Dennison will join a cast that includes Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and Kyle Chandler. Also possibly joining the movie is Cohen Brothers' film veteran Frances McDormand.
No more details have been revealed about Dennison's character, but I have a feeling that he'll be a great source of comic relief. He was great as Ricky Baker in Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and he even managed to crack jokes alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2. I'm sure he can hold his own in this Godzilla vs. Kong movie.
With Godzilla vs. Kong set for a release in 2020, we get to see Godzilla clash with three other monsters next year. In Godzilla: King of Monsters, get ready to see a showdown with Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and the three-headed King Ghidorah.
Hopefully Legendary drops a trailer for the movie before the year ends.
