Deadpool 2 Officially Wraps; Ryan Reynolds Teases Title

Though it never really felt like a long time, production has finally wrapped for Deadpool 2, and Ryan Reynolds has posted this cool photo in his Instagram thanking new director David Leitch. Check it out:

Reynolds also gives us a tease on the subtitle of the movie; though it's obvious that Deadpool 2 won't be using it, at least it kind of confirms that the film will get a subtitle. With Deadpool being as self-referential and meta as it is, I think a simple Deadpool 2 would still be a fitting title. When was the last time we got a sequel that was just "Movie Title 2"? Spider-Man 2?

Reynolds was nice enough to thank everyone else on the set of the movie, as well as his hometown of Vancouver. What's more, he teases some pretty cool Easter Eggs in the film that have been left there by some set decorators from the prop department. I can already imagine all the analysis videos coming up once the movie gets out.

So far, we still have no main idea on the story of Deadpool 2, but we do know that aside from Wade Wilson, returning characters will also include Weasel, Blind Al, Vanessa, and Dopinder the cab driver. Not to mention new characters like Domino and Cable will be introduced.

Deadpool 2 comes out June 1, 2018.
