Deadpool 2: High-Res Image Released of Film’s Surprise Villain

Deadpool 2 was chockfull of surprises, from the sudden death of the X-Force recruits to a small cameo from the X-Men. One cameo that totally came out of the blue was that of villain Juggernaut, and Fox has given us an official image of the gigantic mutant.

With a lot of people being disappointed with Juggernaut's appearance in X-Men: The Last Stand, fans were very pleased with this comic-accurate version of the character. Juggernaut won't be the first case of Deadpool doing some comic-accurate revamping either. They did the same thing with Colossus in the first Deadpool film.

If I can make one similarity from this Juggernaut to the X-Men 3 version though, his helmet seems like it's made from the same material as Vinnie Jones' Juggernaut. It's probably nitpicking at this point, but I would've wanted it to be a bit redder just like the comic version.

With Juggernaut clearly surviving his bout with Colossus, hopefully we get to see him make a return in some future Deadpool or X-Men movie. Personally, I just want the Dark Phoenix to end the Bryan Singer timeline, and have Disney say that Deadpool was part of the MCU this whole time.
