While millions of fans are super-excited to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens this December, David Prowse, the actor best known for playing Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy isn't.
Prowse just had an interview with express.co.uk, and when asked if he's looking forward to see the upcoming Star Wars film, the 80-year-old star said,"Not at all, I've no interest in it whatsoever - other than I was in episodes four, five and six." However, he said that it was "going to be interesting" to see what The Force Awakens will be like.
Prowse went on to admit that he would watch the seventh Star Wars installment if he got invited to the premiere but "probably would" see the film.
Since Darth Vader already died in Return of the Jedi, Dave won't be returning in the new films, but the Bristol-born star said that he wanted to play a part in the new film.
"I would have loved to be involved in some shape or form. They even had a big party to launch episode number seven and I never even got invited to it. Unfortunately they tend to ignore me," he said.
Despite his frustrations at being diregarded from the new Star Wars films, Dave says that he has "no complaints whatsoever" about playing Darth Vader and is "more than happy" with being remembered as the iconic villain.
