Latest The Mandalorian Trailer Features A New Creature And Werner Herzog

With its launching just right around the corner, Disney+ has officially dropped a second trailer for its highly anticipated Star Wars debut The Mandalorian. The new footage further hypes up the upcoming show with several scenes from a post-revolution Star Wars, a voiceover from filmmaker Werner Herzog, a new creature, and a line from the seemingly silent protagonist.

Although it has yet to be named, the new creature appears to have a massive horn similar to a rhinoceros as well as a row of crooked teeth. In the trailer, it can be seen that not even the Mandalorian can control it. The clip also provided a quick glimpse of the stoic yet strong blurrg, seen walking along a ridge in one of the trailer's first few seconds.

The final trailer also provides stellar imagery; with a few frames dedicated to a grave of Stormtroopers, but what stood out the most was Herzog's narration. Still unnamed, his antagonist character talks of the dangers of bounty hunting and poses several questions: "Is the world more peaceful since the revolution? It is a shame you people suffered, but bounty hunting is a complicated profession. They said you were the best in the parsec. Would you agree?"

He goes on to tell the Mandalorian to look outside. "They are waiting for you," he says. To which the Mandalorian responds, "Yeah? Good."

Created by director Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and before the timeline of The Force Awakens. It stars Pedro Pascual as the show's titular character and bounty hunter, Werner Herzog, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Taika Waititi, Giancarlo Esposito, and Carl Weathers.

The Mandalorian is set to air together with the Disney+ launch on November 12, with a new episode arriving each week following that.
