Dad Makes A Cool Star Wars Snowspeeder Out of Cardboard For His Daughter

Some of the coolest Star Wars fans are also the coolest dads you'll know because of the awesome things they do for their kids. Another dad deserves a spotlight for what he did for his six-year-old daughter. John Stoddard used leftover cardboard boxes to build a Star Wars snowspeeder for her daughter's annual "drive-in" movie event, which involves children and their parents bringing a cardboard spaceship or vehicle in while they watch a film on the last day before summer break.

The snowspeeder is made from empty refrigerator boxes and Cuisinart held together by gummed paper tape and duct tape. Cannons were built from carpet tube and the whole thing was coated with gray paint. John's wife added orange stripes and other cool painted details.
