DC Wants To Put The Question On Film Or TV

With Marvel Studios making hits out of their more obscure heroes like Doctor Strange or the Guardians of the Galaxy, the DCEU is trying to do the same with their rich treasure trove of charcaters. Captain Marvel is already getting his own movie with Shazam! and now news has it that DC wants more attention on another lesser-known hero, The Question.

During an appearance at ACE Comic-Con (via ComicBook), Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim talks about DC possibly having plans for The Question:

"I always bring him up. I always feel like that character would be a great fit with the tone of Arrow. Again: it's not our characters, it's DC's characters, and they've got other plans for The Question…I don't know what their plans are, but clearly they do have plans – otherwise we'd be using him."

Depending on where DC plans to use The Question, he can only appear in one or the other, a film or a TV series. Seeing that Arrow now has to stop using Deathstroke to make way for Joe Manganiello's version, the same treatment could go for characters like The Question.

In the comics, The Question was an investigative journalist who wore a mask that made him look like he had no face. Vic Sage used his Question alter ego to investigate against corruption, and it's said that he's also the inspiration behind Watchmen's most popular character, Rorschach.

They also do a great rendition of him in the Justice League cartoon.

We don't know what DC plans to do with the Question, but I'm hoping they use him in a superhero film. Maybe he can make a short appearance in the solo Batman movie?
