DC Streaming Service Gets Name and Show Line-Up

After many months of waiting, DC has finally revealed the name of their streaming service. The new service has will be called DC Universe, which is simple and catchy so that's good. While a release date still hasn't been confirmed, title cards for the shows coming have been released so it's good to know that we can expect some shows already.

Titans, Young Justice: Outsiders and the Harley Quinn animated series will be joined by one show no one expected to see; Swamp Thing. The character is pretty popular admittedly, appearing in Justice League Dark and Injustice 2, as well as headlining a New 52 series. Still, it's cool seeing a DC property not related to Batman getting some time in the spotlight.

Of all the shows announced, Titans is the most well documented. We've already seen great images of Robin, Hawk, and Dove, as well as not-so-great looks at Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy.

Harley Quinn was announced with promo art and not much else, though executives are hoping to get Margot Robbie to voice the character since the actress portrayed her in Suicide Squad. If not, they have the ever-reliable Tara Strong, who has been voicing the Gotham anti-hero since Batman: Arkham City.
