Cowboy Bebop Voice Actor On The Upcoming Live-Action Adaptation

There was a lot of confused feelings when fans learned that Cowboy Bebop was getting a live-action adaptation.

Not only is Cowboy Bebop a critical and commercial success, but a lot of critics and fans have considered the anime series one of the greatest anime titles of all time. Because of its prolific nature, the series has also been considered a gateway series for some, with many anime fans calling Cowboy Bebop one of their favorite titles.

Knowing that live-action adaptations don't really do their source material justice, some expressed concern about the Cowboy Bebop live-action project. However, it seems like Steve Blum, the man who voiced Spike Spiegel in the anime's English dub doesn't seem to be worried at all. No, instead, the voice actor is hoping to be part of the live-action series.

Taking to Twitter, Blum shared an article about the upcoming live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop, saying that he hoped that he could do some voiceover work for the project.

Though there isn't that much information regarding the live-action version of Cowboy Bebop just yet, English-speaking fans would probably appreciate it if Tomorrow Studios did include Blum – after all, the English-dub version of the series really helped popularize Cowboy Bebop in the US and in other English-speaking nations. It would definitely be great to hear Blum's voice in the live-action version of the series.

The Cowboy Bebop live-action adaptation doesn't have a release date yet, but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
